Rowdy
Rowdy is a gregarious young man who is just
starting to come into his own. He has a wonderful personality and is our
resident puppy-sitter. Rowdy has exceptional temperment and is a pleasure to
live and train with. He is a ball fanatic and we are hoping to start him in
rally competition in the spring of 2009. He has been shown sparingly as a
youngster (as he is on the smaller side of the breed standard at just 22
1/2"), but in those few shows he completed his UKC championship easily and
did well in his AKC classes as a puppy. He also made the final cut in the
12-18 month class at the 2008 Golden Retriever National Specialty. While we
wait for him to fully mature, Rowdy will work on his obedience and perhaps
agility training.
